If you are a primary processor of animal products for human or animal consumption you will require a registered Risk Management Programme (RMP) under the Animal Products Act.

If you are a secondary processor of animal products, a transporter, or a storage facility handling export-eligible products you will require an RMP.


Evaluation is required for any new RMP and whenever a significant amendment is made to an existing RMP. 

Anita Taylor is a recognised Risk Management Programme Evaluator and can provide evaluation services for non-dairy RMPs.


Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) is an internationally recognised system used to identify and manage significant food safety hazards, and ensure food safety for your business.




Labeling Compliance

Food labels in New Zealand must comply with the standards in the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code. Each country also has their own unique labelling requirements.
